Chiara Cournoyer is the Human Services Director for the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska. She has worked within the Human Services Department in different capacities since March 2014. She has a diverse background in the Human Services field. She is an enrolled member of the Yankton Sioux Tribe in South Dakota. She has a degree in Business Administration from the University of South Dakota and a degree in Social Work from Briar Cliff University. Chiara currently serves as the Vice President of the Nebraska Indian Child Welfare Coalition, and she is a part of other various committees related to the work she does. She is a certified facilitator of the Fatherhood is Sacred/Motherhood is Sacred parenting curriculum which she facilitates in the Siouxland area. She is also certified nationally as an approved Trainer for the Native American Trauma Informed Partnering for Safety and Permanence: Model Approach to Partnerships in Parenting (TIPS-MAPP:NA).
