Claire Schaefer puts enthusiasm and imagination into everything she does.
From thrift shopping and exploring her passion for the American Revolution to schoolwork and editing The Briar Cliff Review, this amazing young woman is no stranger to being involved and getting creative.
She credits struggling with ADHD to her growth, after not understating why her test scores didn’t match her academic performance.
“Coming to terms with having ADHD has helped me grow both emotionally and academically and I continue to find new ways to focus on tasks that can seem impossible,” Claire says.
Picking up a minor in political science, some of Claire’s favorite classes include Constitutional Law, Criminal Law and Mock Trial. Long term, Claire either wants to teach Constitutional Law or work for a State Attorney General’s office and specialize in defensive litigation.
